GSHP Newsletter - Monthly highlights of issues impacting your profession within the state

Professional Development
State meetings: GSHP hosts three state-wide meetings in the Spring, Summer and Fall. Each of these meetings offer over 40 hours of ACPE-approved continuing education (CE). Visit the meeting page for more information. 

Local district meetings: GSHP members can attend any of the local district dinner meetings held throughout the state. These meetings are generally sponsored by pharmaceutical manufacturers and often provide ACPE-approved CE at no additional expense.


Self Development
Contacts/Networking: Share your ideas and shape the future with colleagues from across the state of Georgia. 

Opportunity to Contribute: Give of your time and talent to further the progress of your profession by joining any of the GSHP committees.

Representation - Have your voice heard through GSHP members at the Georgia State Board of Pharmacy,  Georgia Legislature, pharmacy schools, and American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).

Membership Categories

Pharmacist -$75 per year

Associate - $75 per year

Pharmacy Resident - $30 per year

Pharmacy School Student -$20 per year ($10 is rebated back to the student chapter at the pharmacy school)

Pharmacy Technician- $25 per year


Membership Renewal Instructions

 

To Renew Your GSHP Membership
 
1.       Click on the link below:
 
2.       Complete the short membership renewal form and click on continue to payment.
3.       At the membership packages screen, check the membership type and the number of membership you are paying. Then click add to cart.
4.       In the cart screen, you can double check the membership type and number of memberships, make any changes here, then click on proceed to check out.
5.       On this screen, it will as you for an email address and password. If you have used the shopping cart before to pay for membership dues, pay registration for a meeting, etc, then enter your email address and password that you gave the shopping cart system. If you have not used the shopping cart before, then enter your email address in the new customer section. Go to step #8.
If you have used the shopping cart system, but do not remember your password, click on forgot password in the upper right corner and it will email you a temporary password.
6.       For returning customers, enter your email address and password, then click login. This will take you to the order confirmation screen, confirm your order and click continue to payment.
7.       On the payment screen, enter the type of credit card, the credit card number, the CVV code, expiration date, click on finalize order and your credit card will be processed and a receipt will be emailed to you. You can also print the screen to record your transaction.
8.       For new customers (those that have not used the shopping cart system, (from step #5), enter your email address in the new customer section and click continue.
9.       In the account set-up screen, enter your name, address, etc information and give yourself a password. This will be your password for the shopping cart.
10.   Confirm your payment and click enter.
11.   On the payment screen, enter the type of credit card, the credit card number, the CVV code, expiration date, click on finalize order and your credit card will be processed and a receipt will be emailed to you. You can also print the screen to record your transaction.
