The Southwest District routinely schedules continuing education meetings throughout the year for its members. Often, the same continuing education programs are offered in both Albany and Thomasville to allow for greater member attendance.
Maura Hall, Pharm.D, is currently Assistant Director of Clinical Pharmacy Services at John D Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville Georgia. Her responsibilities include development and coordination of clinical activities within the Archbold Hospital system and serves as the site preceptor for University of Georgia pharmacy students.
Maura obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from The University of Georgia and furthered her training by completing a general clinical residency followed by a pediatric specialty residency at the University of Kentucky. Maura worked at The Children’s Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio for seven years where she was clinical coordinator then director before she returned to her roots in the south. In 1999 she began working as a clinical pharmacist at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital before joining the staff at Archbold where she has worked for the past 10 years. With GSHP, Maura served previously as a District Director and Education Committee Co-Chair. She is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
Maura’s favorite pastime is sitting on the porch at the beach listening to the ocean and traveling with her family.
