Jody Rocker is the District Director.
Jody C. Rocker, Pharm.D, BCPS is currently the clinical pharmacist for the Neuroscience Center at Augusta University Medical Center (formerly Medical College of Georgia/Georgia Regents Medical Center). Her responsibilities include patient care activities (profile review, order entry, responding to drug information questions from nurses/physicians, in-services for nurses and medical residents) for all Neurology and Neurosurgery patients in the NeuroICU and step-down unit. She is a member of the Comprehensive Stroke Center Multidisciplinary team and Neuroscience Quality Counsel. Jody is also an adjunct professor with the UGA College of Pharmacy providing a clinical site for 4th year PharmD students. In addition, Jody provides NeuroICU and Neurology rotations for the PGY1 and PYG2 residents at AUMC.
Jody obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Georgia in 2003 and completed an ASHP accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Medical College of Georgia (now AUMC) in 2004. Prior to her current position, she joined MCG as a staff pharmacist in 2004. She is a member of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists, the Neurocritical Care Society, and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy.
For fun, Jody enjoys travelling and attending sporting events, especially events at UGA or sports teams her husband may be coaching. In previous years, Jody has travelled to Ibarra, Ecuador on several medical mission trips with Warren Baptist Church, Augusta, GA.
